J. Scott Anderson, MD
Dr. Anderson received his medical degree from Indiana University Medical School in Indianapolis, Indiana, and completed his residency training in psychiatry at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has been a practicing psychiatrist at TriStar Centennial Medical Center since 2014. Brian Bradford, DO
Dr. Bradford is a Child and Adolescent psychiatrist who's for being approachable and dedicated to his work. Dr. Bradford completed his residency in Arkansas and his fellowship at the University of Utah. He brings a calm, reassuring presence to his work and is excellent in teaching while treating patients. Alan Lynch, MD
Dr. Lynch is a teaching faculty for our outpatient psychiatry clinic, guiding residents in the art and practice of psychiatry. He previously held role in addiction medicine psychiatry. Clifford Roberson, MD
Dr. Roberson is a teaching faculty for our geriatric psychiatry unit in Parthenon. He is an excellent provider and teacher who supervises residents on geriatric unit. |
Alexandre Koumtchev, MD
Dr. Koumtchev is the associate program director and psychiatry Department, Chairman. Dr. Koumtchev will work directly with the program director to support the mission, vision, and aims of the residency program for its residents. He will supervise and mentor residents as well as serve on the Program Evaluation Committee. Jamie Avenido, MD
Dr. Avenido is core faculty on the Consultation/Liasion psychiatry service. In her role, she manages the psychiatric care of patients admitted to our med/psych unit in Centennial Medical center as well as psychiatric consultations throughout the campus. Nathaniel Allen-Slaba, MD
Dr. Allen-Slaba is one of our recent attending psychiatrists who mostly works with residents on inpatient services. He brings a dense knowledge base, soft-skills, and an eagerness to teach residents while providing excellent patient care. Vedavyasa Biliyar, MD
Dr. Biliyar is a psychodynamically oriented child and adolescent psychiatrist specializing in family crisis intervention for teenagers. Under his guidance, residents learn to understand childhood trauma in teenagers and how it manifests as adult psychopathology. |

Robert Yates, MD
Dr. Yates was a core faculty on inpatient psychiatry. His experience in psychiatry was vital to residents' experience. Residents developed skills in the use of psychotropic drug treatment, selection of patients for somatic therapies (such as ECT), and learn about commitment procedures. Luigi Cardella, MD
Dr. Cardella was our consultation/liason and forensic psychiatry faculty who transitioned into outpatient faculty before moving on. He helped residents build patient rapport and provide comprehensive care to patients. |
Olivia Gawrych, MD
Dr. Gawrych was on inpatient psychiatry in Parthenon. She joined us in September of 2022 from UCF-COM/North Florida, and worked with our residents in her role as faculty and assistant program director. Dr. Gawrych provided insight to residents on the management of psychiatric crises, among many other topics. Anthony Ekwo, MD
Dr. Ekwo is a board-certifed in adult psychiatry in addiction medicine. He was an excellent inpatient psychiatrist who helped guide residents in the management of complex patient cases. |
